Your ASWG004 turn plates sit 0.8" off the floor. Drive straight at that step and the tire shifts the plate off its mark before it ever climbs on. ASRP004 raises every wheel to the same 0.8" height, so the car rolls on level, sits level, and settles level.

Driving straight onto the plates
A 0.8" step meets the tire before the plate does. The tire nudges the plate along as it climbs: the plate skids off center, and the floating top plate jams against its travel stop. The dial ends up pointing somewhere it should not, and you start the alignment with a moved plate, not a centered one.
Rolling on with ASRP004
The ramp carries the wheel up the full 0.8" and hands it over level with the plate deck. The tire rolls across the bridge onto the plate instead of striking its edge, so the plate stays centered under the wheel and the top plate keeps its free float. Roll on, settle, and start from a centered plate.

Step 01 / Set the Floor
Work on flat, hard concrete or paved floor. Skip sloped driveways, gravel and soft ground. The floor is the reference everything measures against.
Step 02 / Drive On
Ramp centerline to wheel centerline, longer units to the rear. Roll on at walking pace and stop on the flat deck. Do not overshoot.
Step 03 / Stage the Plates
Set an ASWG004 turn plate in front of each front wheel, plate center matched to wheel center. Shift outward on wide tires so the dial stays visible.
Step 04 / Bridge and Settle
Drop the ASWG004-TSB bridges in, roll the front wheels onto the plates, chock the wheels, and let the car settle before you read anything.

Level All Four Corners
The ASWG004 turn plates hold your front wheels 0.8" off the floor. These ramps raise the rear wheels to the same 0.8" height, so all four wheels sit at one level while you set up your at-home wheel alignment.

Dix panneaux en polypropylène à verrouillage coulissant s'assemblent à la main pour former 4 rampes d'accès et 2 plateformes de niveau arrière, sans aucune visserie. Les roues avant montent sur leurs rampes, franchissent les ponts de transition ASWG004-TSB fournis dans chaque boîte ASWG004, puis se posent sur les plateaux pivotants ; les roues arrière terminent sur les plateformes de niveau, de sorte que les quatre coins reposent sur un même plan à la hauteur de caisse. Engager un pneu directement sur un plateau sans rampe a tendance à décentrer le plateau et à bloquer son plateau supérieur flottant contre la butée de course : c'est l'entrée en rampe qui maintient chaque plateau centré et libre avant le réglage du carrossage, de la chasse, du KPI et du parallélisme. Chaque rampe est homologuée pour 4 tonnes, la même capacité que le plateau pivotant qu'elle alimente, ce qui couvre les voitures, les SUV et les camionnettes. Le polypropylène moulé résiste à l'huile, au liquide de frein et aux produits chimiques d'atelier, et se range à plat entre deux réglages. L'ensemble convient uniquement à l'ASWG004 ; il n'est pas compatible avec le plateau ASWG008 pour fosse ou pont, dont la hauteur est différente. Utilisez-le sur un sol dur et plat, en béton ou revêtu, pour préparer un véhicule aux travaux d'alignement ; ce n'est ni un pont élévateur ni une chandelle.
