Steering Wheel Level Alignment Tool
Steering Wheel Level Alignment Tool
Analog centerline. Digital confirmation.
The ASSTL1 mounts directly to the steering wheel and uses an integrated bubble vial to read steering centerline in seconds. Add the ASMDL360 for degree-precise readout and roll steer verification. One platform for analog and digital wheel alignment.
Analog + Digital. One platform.
Bubble level centers the steering wheel. Digital level adds degree measurements and roll steer.
Bubble Level Centering
Mount the ASSTL1 on the steering wheel and turn until the bubble centers. The integrated vial reads centerline directly from the wheel. No string setup, no floor reference marks. Set the steer-ahead reference in one step and confirm before measuring toe or camber.
Four Measurements. One Digital Level.
Seat the ASMDL360 on the magnetic surface for degree-precise readout. Measure steer-ahead angle, roll steer deviation as the car rolls forward, steering lock left and right, and before-and-after comparison across adjustments. All four from one platform without removing the clamp.
Six details. Each one earns its place.
Hover or tap each point to see how the ASSTL1 is built for the steering wheel.
Integrated Centerline Bubble Vial
Center-mounted vial reads steering wheel alignment directly from the wheel face. The bubble centers when the steering wheel points straight ahead, visible from the driver's seat during adjustment.

How to use the ASSTL1 Wheel Level.
Mount, center, roll steer. Start to finish.
Base or digital. Choose your workflow.
ASSTL1 uses the analog bubble. ASSTL1xMDL adds the ASMDL360 digital level.
ASSTL1 · Steering Level
The ASSTL1 uses an integrated bubble vial for steering centerline. Spring-loaded pins fit steering wheels from 8 to 15 inches. Magnetic surface accepts V-groove format gauges. Use for steer-ahead reference, roll steer checks, and as the base for the ASMDL360 digital upgrade. Includes level and hardware.
ASSTL1xMDL · With ASMDL360
The ASSTL1xMDL includes the ASSTL1 plus the ASMDL360 digital angle level. Seat the ASMDL360 on the magnetic surface for degree-precise readout. Measure steer-ahead angle, roll steer deviation, and steering lock without additional tools. Complete kit, ready to use out of the box.

WHY STEERING WHEEL POSITION MATTERS
The AutoSolo Steering Wheel Level Alignment Tool is a centering device that holds a magnetic torpedo level against the steering wheel face so the mechanic can confirm the wheel is straight before locking in front-end alignment settings. Steering wheel position is the final step in a wheel alignment: if the wheel is off-center when the vehicle drives straight, the toe and caster readings must be rechecked because the wheel was not in its true neutral position during measurement. The tool uses self-centering spring-loaded arms that adjust from 8 to 15 inches to fit most passenger car, truck, and SUV steering wheels. The 100% silicone contact pins protect the wheel surface during use. The frame is constructed from aluminum and stainless steel for durability in garage environments. A magnetic adapter is included for mechanics who prefer to swap in a separate digital level for vehicles with tighter OEM tolerance requirements.
