Il morsetto ruota 3D DSP AutoSolo con estensioni di presa sul battistrada fissa il calibro di allineamento alla ruota mediante due sistemi di contatto indipendenti anziché uno solo. Quattro perni di posizionamento regolabili appoggiano sul cerchio e due estensioni di presa fanno pressione sulla superficie del battistrada, per un totale di sei punti di contatto su due superfici diverse. Distribuire il carico in questo modo riduce le flessioni e le oscillazioni che un morsetto appoggiato al solo cerchio può trasmettere al calibro, ossia proprio ciò che la correzione dell'eccentricità deve compensare. Il morsetto è compatibile con cerchi da 11 a 25 pollici, dalle utilitarie ai veicoli commerciali leggeri, e i bracci in acciaio inox si regolano con una manopola rotante senza bisogno di attrezzi. È incluso un adattatore magnetico universale cromato che offre una superficie magnetizzata piana compatibile con i calibri di campanatura e caster AutoSolo e con la maggior parte degli strumenti magnetici di altri produttori. La costruzione in acciaio stampato a iniezione e la finitura cromata resistono a ruggine e usura in officina. Per azzerare il sistema, confrontare l'angolo dell'adattatore con il bordo esterno del cerchio utilizzando una livella digitale o un'asta rettificata e allineare i due valori prima di effettuare qualsiasi misurazione.

The quality of the product is excellent with machinery and finishing that match the level of precision necessary for wheel alignment! The kit is primarily designed to assist in measuring camber and caster accurately. I couldn't find my camber gauge at this moment (somewhere in my garage) and wasn't able to show it in the picture, but given the overall construction and beautiful finishing of the center adapter/plate, I am confident the gauge will attach to it precisely and nicely with the magnetic base.The product is mostly one piece in the box, and it took a few minutes to assemble the clamp with tire tread grips and pins to attach it to the wheel. Once you adjust it to fit the whee/tire size, the attachment is secure and fit. No play at all, which is important for your wheel alignment to be accurate. It is a huge help and gives me confidence in my camber (and caster) measurement where the wheel's center cap is not always flat to support this measurement; even when it is, the flat cap itself might not be aligned itself and can set off your numbers.This kit can certainly be used in a professional alignment shop, but it works in a DIY garage too. I have a separate method for precision toe alignment in a home garage and this kit is intended for camber and caster, which is very easy now with the tool.All in all, I really appreciate the premium quality of the product, its ease of assembly and attachment to the wheel, and the confidence it gives me in measuring camber and caster!
This device is fairly simple to use if you have some patience and a small amount of mechanical know how. To start it is well constructed which makes it simple to understand and once you figured it out the first time, every job afterwards will be easy. Moreover, if you are needing a at home way to check the tilt of your tire, meaning if is is wearing on one side more than the other, this tool will help you figure that out and allow you to adjust your tire rods to move the tire in or out to stop improper tire wear. I think its a great value because it will save you premature tire wear.

This wheel alignment clamp is a high quality tool to help you get accurate wheel alignments. This can be used by home mechanics or in a professional setting. It is very well made and installs easily. You do need an additional magnetic caster and camber gauge which is about another $100.
