Alignment Wheel Clamp Replacement Rim Locators (Set of 4)
Alignment Wheel Clamp Replacement Rim Locators (Set of 4)
Pick the pin length by how far your hub stands out
Four reversible nickel-plated iron pins, with the O-rings and snap rings that keep them seated, for one AutoSolo rim clamp. The 88 mm set is what the clamp ships with and covers most cars, SUVs, and single-rear-wheel trucks. The 137 mm set lifts the clamp for dually and wide-offset wheels.

Measure your hub clearance before you order
Lay a straightedge across the wheel so it rests on the tallest point, then measure straight down from the straightedge to the rim edge. That gap is your hub clearance, and it is the same plane the locator pins hook onto. If the straightedge sits flat on the rim, the hub is recessed and your clearance is zero, so the 88 mm set is the one. If the hub holds the straightedge up, write the gap down in millimeters and carry it to the next step.
Check it against your clamp.
Two pin heights, drawn to one scale. Find the figure for your clamp.

88 mm pins clear up to 93 mm, 3.7 in
Measured on the ASWG001 and ASWG001TC from the rim edge to the underside of the arch, with the clamp at its middle extension. The ASWG002 clears up to 78 mm, 3.1 in, on the same pins. If your hub clearance is under these figures, the pins already in your clamp are the right ones.

137 mm pins clear up to 135 mm, 5.3 in
The longer pin stands the whole clamp 42 mm further off the wheel, so the arch clears a taller hub. ASWG001 and ASWG001TC clear up to 135 mm, 5.3 in. ASWG002 clears up to 120 mm, 4.7 in. If your hub clearance is over the 88 mm figure for your clamp, order the 137 mm set.
Order one set per clamp.

Locator pins
Two lengths. One diameter. Two pins on the bench. Six details called out.
Hover or tap each point. Every set ships with the O-rings and snap rings that keep the pins seated.
Hook end
Hooks over the outer edge of the rim. Hub clearance is measured from this edge, so the number you took in step 1 is the number the clamp has to beat.
Fits three AutoSolo rim clamps. One set per clamp.

ASWG001 rim clamp
Ships with 88 mm pins in its arms. Swap to the 137 mm set for a dually or wide-offset wheel.

ASWG001TC tread grip clamp
Seats the same four rim pins, so its hub clearance is the same as the ASWG001 on either length.

ASWG002 ONYX PRO clamp
Takes both lengths. It stands 15 mm closer to the wheel, so its clearance is 78 mm or 120 mm.

Bigger rim, not a taller hub?
Pins do not change rim reach. The ASWG001-EXT extension kit takes the clamp from 25 in to 30 in rims.

UNDERSTANDING HUB CLEARANCE
The AutoSolo ASWG001 rim clamp locates on a wheel through four reversible locator pins that hook over the outer edge of the rim, and the pins come in an 88 mm and a 137 mm length. Hub clearance is the distance from the rim edge to the tallest point of the hub, measured with a straightedge laid across the wheel, and it decides which length a wheel needs. On 88 mm pins the ASWG001 and ASWG001TC clear a hub of up to 93 mm, and the ASWG002 clears up to 78 mm. The 137 mm pins stand the whole clamp 42 mm further off the wheel, so the ASWG001 and ASWG001TC clear up to 135 mm and the ASWG002 up to 120 mm, which is the range a dually or wide-offset wheel calls for. Both lengths are 14 mm across, made of solid iron under a nickel plate, and ship as a set of four with the O-rings and snap rings that hold each pin seated in the clamp arm. Pin length changes hub clearance only. Rim reach is set by the pin slot in the arm, and the ASWG001-EXT extension kit is what takes the clamp from 25 in to 30 in rims. The 88 mm set is the one the clamp ships with, so a set is bought as a replacement or to move to the longer pins for a taller hub.
