Read camber and caster as a number. No bubble.
The AutoSolo ASDCG203 reads camber directly on an LCD display. Mount it on the hub, confirm the built-in level, and read the number. No bubble to interpret by eye. For caster, run the one-button 20° sweep: the LCD shows the swing, then multiply by 1.46 for true caster. The display holds your last reading after power off so you can compare before and after each suspension adjustment.
Camber is the lean angle of your wheel.
Camber Is the Lean Angle of Your Wheel
Camber is the tilt of your wheel inward or outward from vertical, viewed from the front of the vehicle. Most vehicles run a small amount of negative camber from factory. Camber affects tire contact and wear. Too much tilt in either direction wears the edge of the tire faster than the center.
Negative, Zero, and Positive Camber
Negative camber tilts the wheel top inward toward the vehicle. Zero is vertical. Positive tilts the top outward. Most street vehicles run slight negative camber from factory. Worn bushings or control arms shift camber out of spec. The gauge shows the current angle so you know where to adjust.
Caster is the tilt of your steering axis.
Caster Is the Tilt of Your Steering Axis
Caster is the forward or rearward tilt of the steering axis, viewed from the side. Positive caster tilts the top of the axis rearward. Most modern vehicles run positive caster from factory. Caster affects straight-line tracking and how well the steering returns to center after a turn.
Negative, Neutral, and Positive Caster
Positive caster is rearward tilt and is standard on most modern vehicles. It adds steering weight and return-to-center feel. Negative caster is forward tilt and reduces steering return. Neutral caster is vertical. Most factory specs call for 3 to 7 degrees of positive caster on passenger vehicles.
The gauge, spec by spec.
Camber and caster. LCD readout. One mount.
Display Type
LCD digital readout. Angle shown as a number on the display, not a bubble vial.
Measurement Angles
Camber and caster. Two angles from a single mount.
Memory Function
Holds the last reading after power off so you can compare before and after each suspension adjustment.
Calibration
Built-in level confirms the gauge is seated square to the wheel before each reading.
Mount Type
Magnetic base. Seats directly on cast iron wheel hubs and brake rotors.
Compatible Tools
Fits the ASWG001 wheel clamp and works across the full AutoSolo alignment system.
Caster Procedure
Two-position sweep. Steer the wheel one direction, zero the display, then sweep the other direction. The LCD shows the swing, not caster. Multiply the swing by 1.46 for true caster.
Power
Battery powered. Reading is retained on the display after the unit is switched off.
Use Case
Home garage wheel alignment. DIY suspension work, lowering springs, coilovers, control arm changes.
What Is Included
1x ASDCG203 digital camber caster gauge with magnetic mount and LCD display.
Digital camber or three angles.
Both gauges read on AutoSolo wheel clamps. Pick the workflow that fits your bay.
