Runout Compensation Adapter for AutoSolo Wheel and Tire Clamps

WHY COMPENSATE FOR RUNOUT

A wheel clamp seats on the rim edge, so a rim that is bent, a tire that is not quite centered, or a clamp that is slightly off square all put a small tilt into the gauge face that has nothing to do with the suspension. Runout compensation takes that tilt out. With the car on stands and the adapter on the clamp, you turn the wheel to three knob positions, read camber at each, and adjust the knobs until all three readings agree. The measuring face is now true to the wheel's axis, and every camber and caster reading from that point on is a reading of the suspension, not the rim.
