Its top plate tilts on three spring loaded jack screws, so you can set the measuring face true to the wheel's axis before you read camber or caster, instead of reading a bent rim or an off-center clamp seat.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eThree red knobs set the plane.\u003c\/strong\u003e Turn the wheel, equalize the camber reading at each knob position, and the gauge face is trued to the axle.
